What does an Umbilical Cord mean in a dream?

An umbilical cord represents your connections to your 'support line'.
It can represent your ties to your mother and family and also your independance/dependance.
The umbilical cord is what allows a fetus to get the nutrience and oxygen it needs (from the placenta) to survive from it's mother.
Are you concerned about being able to support yourself when you are on your own?
Are you worried about being 'too dependant' on your family and not feeling confident to 'go out on your own' in life?
